What the Numbers Tell Us
Kentucky alone reported over 11 million barrels of bourbon aging as of 2024 — a number that would have seemed impossible fifteen years ago. That supply glut is already softening secondary market prices on everything except the true unicorns. A bottle of Weller 12 that was flipping for $250 in 2021 can be found at retail again in many markets.
